The three-year project to develop the Deep Time apps was led by Herefordshire & Worcestershire Earth Heritage Trust. It has drawn on the expertise of several school teachers and education professionals. It has also been supported by a number of geologists, and digital design work has been carried out by students at the University of Gloucestershire. The technical expertise for the development of the apps has been provided by Mike Brooks of BrooksDesign. Aerial photographs of the Olchon Valley were kindly provided by Derek Foxton Photography and drone filming was carried out by Cloud Visual and Attwood Media.
The project was funded mainly by the Heritage Lottery Fund and the Bransford Trust. Other cash contributions were made by Lickey Hills Earth Heritage Champions, Teme Valley Geological Society, Tomlinson-Brown Trust, Worcester 6th Form College and the Rodway legacy.
Herefordshire & Worcestershire Earth Heritage Trust is grateful to the following for their professional and voluntary input and promotional support for the project:
Alan Richardson, Bob Allison, Dan Boatright , Dave Green, Ian Fairchild, John Mosely, John Payne, Nick Chidlaw, Alice Kennedy, Chris King (Earth Science Education Unit), Elizabeth Devon (Earth Learning Idea), Pete Loader (ESTA).
