Steep climb

There is a steep slope to climb here, using the wooden steps, up to the top of Beacon Hill. Using the map, what could be causing this steep ground? You will probably receive an ‘environment change’ alert as you start climbing the steps.

 

 

Stones in the path

As you climb the hill, especially towards the top, look at the ground. You should see small angular fragments of hard rock surrounded by muddy, red clay. See photo below for a close-up of this feature.
