Sedimentary and Geomorphology

Identify the factors that have controlled the development of the landscape of the Olchon Valley and their relative importance. The exercise has three parts:
1. Examine the nature and consider the origins of the bedrock (along Cat’s Back.
2. Observe glacial and periglacial features of the valley (from Cat’s Back).
3. Describe and interpret the landforms on the west side of the valley (Darens)
